HONG STUDIO Debuts New Collection at FaW Tokyo 2026 Spring Show
HONG STUDIO will showcase its latest collection at the FaW Tokyo 2026 Spring Show, featuring eco-friendlymaterials such as Vegetable-tanned Leather, Water-dyed Top-grain Leather, and the innovative Balloon-recycled Leather. These materials reflect the brand’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and eco-conscious design.
- Vegetable-tanned Leather
Made using a natural, plant-based tanning process, vegetable-tanned leather is free from harmful chemicals. As the leather ages, it develops a unique patina, resulting in a one-of-a-kind product. This material is ideal for brands seeking sustainable and naturally beautiful leather options. - Water-dyed Top-grain Leather
This leather is dyed using eco-friendly, water-based dyes that reduce the use of harmful chemicals. It retains its natural texture while offering rich, durable colors, making it a perfect choice for sustainable design. - Balloon-recycled Leather
Made from recycled balloon materials, this innovative leather contributes to the circular economy. Though still an emerging material, balloon-recycled leather highlights how creative recycling can reduce waste and promote sustainable production. Its unique texture and eco-friendly properties are attracting increasing attention from brands focused on sustainable material innovations.
