What Is FaW TOKYO?
FaW TOKYO — Fashion World Tokyo is held twice a year at Tokyo Big Sight and is described by the organiser as Japan’s largest fashion trade show.
The Autumn edition brings together 10 specialised shows covering brands and designers, apparel, bags, footwear and accessories, textiles and materials, sustainable fashion, fashion technology, reuse and OEM/ODM sourcing.
For the 2026 Autumn edition, around 800 exhibitors are expected to meet approximately 20,000 professional visitors from Japan and international markets.
The show is built around business discussions — from buying finished collections and sourcing materials to finding development and manufacturing partners. This broad structure allows product teams to move from market ideas to materials, suppliers and production solutions within the same event.

A successful sample shows that a product can be made once. Stable production requires the same materials, structure, workmanship and quality requirements to be repeated across an order.
That is why HONG STUDIO places development at the beginning of the manufacturing process. Our Research & Development workflow connects design, engineering, materials, hardware, mock-ups and sample making before a project moves into bulk production.
For brands with an existing design, technical pack or reference sample, our OEM & ODM project pathways allow a project to begin from the development stage that best matches its current status.
Once the product is confirmed, our Production system carries approved development decisions into manufacturing and quality control.
What to Bring to the Show
You do not need a complete technical pack before speaking with us.
A sketch, reference image, existing sample or early-stage concept can all be useful starting points. We can discuss structure, materials, hardware, sampling requirements, order quantities, quality expectations and development schedules.
For more developed projects, we can also review existing samples and discuss possible improvements in construction, materials, finishing or production consistency.
